The Ports Andrew Price and the Blaze Joe Unknown were suspended by the league for 5 games following the on-field battle this week at Ballpark of Aurora.
| | Wednesday, April 30th, 2008: Year Ends for Marshall White in Stockton The doctors have spoken and Marshall White of the Stockton Ports didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old center fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. White sustained his season-ending injury during the Visalia Oaks game yesterday at Ballpark of Aurora. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing the ball. Today the Stockton medical staff reported White had a fractured elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 12 months.
This year White is hitting .233 with 21 hits, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and has scored 18 runs. | | | Injuries | | Player | Injury | Out for... | Disabled List Status | | CF Marshall White | fractured elbow | 11 months | Not on DL | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 27-18, .600 PCT | | Position in Division | 2nd, 4.0 GB | | Record at home | 13-8, .619 PCT | | Record on the road | 14-10, .583 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 0-1, .000 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 7-4, .636 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 11-7, .611 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 16-11, .593 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 5-5, .500 PCT | | Record in April | 15-10, .600 PCT | | Record in May | 12-8, .600 PCT |
