In the 7-0 victory he faced only 28 batters, surrendered no hits, had 7 strikeouts and 2 walks.
"I'll be very honest with you," his manager said. "I didn't know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning. I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had. Then I happened to notice that they didn't have any hits."
Commenting on his defeat, the losing manager told reporters in the clubhouse how he saw the game, "Well, it was pretty simple today, the Rainiers had all the hits and all the runs. And Pacheco pitched a heck of a ballgame."
This season Pacheco has compiled a 8-0 mark with a 1.98 ERA. | | Friday, May 9th, 2008: Ojeda Whitewashes Tacoma After his 8-0 shutout win against the Rainiers, Juan Ojeda said, "I went out there to try and eat up innings and help out our bullpen.
